What Happens After You Join Le Vigne’s La Famiglia Wine Club
Joining a wine club can feel a little like joining a secret society. One day you sign up, and the next, there’s a shipment notification in your inbox, or a selection of wines waiting for you at one of the tasting rooms. Being part of a Paso Robles wine club isn’t just about receiving bottles though; it’s about how those wines find their way into your life.
But what actually happens after you join La Famiglia?
As someone who works both in winemaking and wine club operations here in Paso Robles, I can tell you, it’s a lot more intentional than it might seem.
Thoughtfully Planned, Never Random
Every wine club allocation is planned well in advance. We taste through wines, decide what’s ready to drink, and build a selection that offers balance between something familiar, something new, and always something worth opening.
Then, we take it a step further. Zina, The Cheese Lady, helps us select two cheeses that pair with specific wines in your shipment. Her expertise is key to creating a seamless tasting experience worth savoring and sharing!
Behind the Scenes: Months in Motion
What feels simple on your end is the result of months of coordination. We align bottling schedules, plan releases, and ensure that everything moves smoothly from vineyard to cellar to your glass. Then, we get down to the nitty-gritty of creating the club information insert, drafting emails, ordering shipping supplies, and planning the pick-up parties. It is a little like choreographing a dance, except the dancers are forklifts, fermentations, and shipping carriers.
Make It Your Own
One of the best parts of being in our wine club is flexibility.
Want more of one wine and less of another? Prefer all reds or all whites? Looking to try something new? You can customize your allocation to fit your taste.
For shipping orders, timing matters. As long as you submit changes before the customization deadline, we can almost always make it happen. Helping members shape their shipments is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do. It means helping you get the most out of your membership and enjoy the wines you love best.
Shipping wine from Paso Robles: The Part You Don’t See
Shipping wine comes with its own set of challenges: adult signatures, state regulations, weather, and the occasional unplanned package detour.
When something unexpected happens, we’re behind the scenes, troubleshooting, adjusting, and keeping you informed. It’s all part of making sure your wine arrives safely and in good condition.
Picking Up Your Wine at the Paso Robles Winery or Los Angeles Tasting Room
Your membership includes 2 to 4 tickets (depending on your level) to the pick-up party, with lunch, wine, and special extras. With live music and a relaxed atmosphere, it’s one of the best ways to experience the wines.
If you pick up outside of events, you might get a reminder or two. Those aren’t just logistical, they’re personal. Pick-up is one of the few chances we have to connect with you in person and share what’s new. There’s also a practical side: space is limited, cheese is perishable, and your wines are set aside just for you. If you ever need more time, just reach out. We’re happy to work with you.
More Than a Membership
What makes the La Famiglia wine club special is how quickly it becomes personal.
We start to recognize your name. We remember your preferences. We notice who customizes, who loves bold reds, and who shows up right when pick-up begins.
You’re not just an order number; you are a part of the family.
Why Joining a Paso Robles Wine Club Matters
At the end of the day, being part of La Famiglia wine club isn’t about shipments or logistics. It’s about opening a bottle on a random Tuesday or bringing a wine to dinner and sharing where it came from. It’s about feeling connected, not just to the wine, but to the people behind it.
If you’re already a member, thank you for being part of La Famiglia. If you’re thinking about joining, we’d love to welcome you to the family!
And if you ever have questions about your shipment, customization, or pick-up, we’re always here to help.
