Our Cheese On The Central Coast

We’re often called upon by local wineries, chefs, and caterers throughout the Paso Robles region to create stunning cheese and charcuterie platters for their private events—and our team delivers each one like a work of edible art.

Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at what our talented cheese girls have been up to over the past few weeks...

Private Event Perfection

One recent customer ordered a platter for an intimate gathering, and we think it’s safe to say they were thrilled with the results. The board featured a carefully curated selection of cured meats—including soppressata, coppa, and Speck Alto Adige—paired with standout cheeses like:

  • Sage Derby

  • Leyden (a savory Dutch cheese with cumin seeds)

  • A brie wheel rolled in cracked pepper and topped with fig jam

  • English Blue Stilton served alongside a luscious honeycomb

The platter was finished with French cocktail olives, dried fruits, Marcona almonds, and seasonal edible flowers from Loo Loo Farms—creating a vibrant and balanced grazing experience.

A Feast for the Eyes (and Palate)

Another recent platter included:

  • Fig and Almond Cake with Mahon on a bed of Marcona almonds

  • Beemster Vlaskaas, Shaft’s Gold Mine Bleu, and Beecher’s Marco Polo

  • Speck Alto Adige, coppa, and a wedge of brie wrapped in edible petals

  • Castelvetrano olives, dried peaches, pears, and dates, and a generous scatter of flowers for color and flair

Each element was selected for its flavor, texture, and visual appeal—a board as beautiful as it was delicious.

Le Vigne Events Get the Royal Treatment Too

For our May wine club pickup party, we created an abundant spread featuring:

  • Speck Alto Adige

  • Beecher’s Flagship

  • Dutch Girl Goat Gouda

  • Wisconsin 5-Year Aged Cheddar

  • Purple Haze and Sgt. Pepper goat chèvres

We finished the display with fresh grape leaves, roses, and bachelor button petals for a seasonal, garden-inspired touch.

Partnering with Paso Robles Wineries

Our platters are a favorite among local wineries:

  • Broken Earth Winery recently ordered two generous boards for their club event, featuring pepper-coated soppressata, Speck Alto Adige, and a rotating mix of cheeses like Valdeon, Sage Derby, and Truffle Tremor.

  • Vina Robles Winery requested a custom board for their Mother’s Day sparkling wine brunch—featuring Truffle Tremor, Barely Buzzed, Rumiano Dry Jack, Fol Epi, and a mini Saint Andre wheel, adorned with rose petals and vibrant bachelor buttons.
