One of the first wineries in the area to feature wine and cheese parings in their tasting room, Le Vigne Winery has been awarded several accolades recognizing our excellence in this field.

Everyday visitors can stop in our tasting room and experience our reserve wines expertly paired with unique and flavorful cheeses; these parings are changed frequently to keep the sense of learning and discovery fresh in the minds of return visitors. Le Vigne Winery's relationship with cheese is a direct result of the winery's parent company’s (Peacock Cheese) core business, which is the importation and distribution of fine cheeses and other gourmet food items. Founded in 1946 Peacock Cheese is one of California’s first importers of fine foods, it is currently one of the largest suppliers of specialty cheese and wine to the hospitality and cruise industry, as well as to retailers and restaurants.

Though Le Vigne has carried gourmet cheeses since their opening in 1995, it was not until 10 years later that their Cheese Lady, Zina Miakinkova joined the team. With this perfect relationship Zina started the now famous cheese and wine pairing program at the winery that has grown into a thriving Wine and Cheese club . Zina is highly regarded in the Paso Robles area as an authority on cheese and has worked with many of the wineries in the area to develop their own wine and cheese parings tailored to their own wines. Zina’s enthusiasm for wine and cheese continues.
