Marketing & Sales Manager- Zina Miakinkova
Zina Miakinkova graduated from Occidental College in 2003 with a degree in French and Russian. Like most recent graduates Zina found herself with a degree, but no true sense of what she wanted to do for her career. After living in France, she returned to the United States with a new found love of fine wines and cheeses. In May of 2004 she was visiting Paso Robles and found the beauty of the area irresistible. “A fun summer job” turned into the passion of a lifetime.
After working at Mastantuono Winery and Bonny Doon Winery Zina found her home at Le Vigne Winery. At Le Vigne Winery Zina was exposed to more types of cheese than there are days in the year. Zina is highly regarded in the Paso Robles area as an authority on cheese and has worked with many of the wineries in the area to develop their own wine and cheese parings tailored to their own wines. Zina’s enthusiasm for wine and cheese continues.
She is currently a Sommelier and a Certified Specialist of Wine she is also working on becoming one of the first Certified Fromagers in the area.
